Facilitators
Jacqueline McCormick

Jacqueline has been teaching, performing and making dances for over thirty years, directing and performing in her company DanceAbout works that take a dancing journey through the outback of the self. She is fascinated by creating movement from sensation, especially in natural environments, as captured in her site based films; Meadowsweet, Oak and Broom, Settle, Spiral and The Walk, shot in Joshua Tree, California USA.

Jacqueline's work is greatly influenced by her research into improvisation, especially Contact Improvisation. Since 1990 she has taught CI at numerous Contact Festivals and workshops throughout the USA and Europe.

She has been on a journey of transformation the last few years, reinventing herself in her truest likeness, delivering JOY LAB workshops that take people closer to their authentic selves in each moment through movement.

Helon Conning

I am an instinctual, spontaneous and the expressive Artist who uses experimental art processes including the use of natural materials and tools.

I look for different ways to express human experience, perception of reality and existence through experimentation and play.

I focus on play and enjoyment of the process of creation. My work is collaborative in nature. Participants, and spectators can each have their own personal sense of a valuable aesthetic outcome.

As a facilitator I encourage and support all to find their innate creativity and embrace the joyful "off planet" creative experience.

Human creativity is our universal language and creative activity promotes our universal collective connection when we freely express and evolve by art form to art form.
