Some Some Unicorn - Since the debut album SSU has evolved into a remarkable live experience. Live the outfit is between 8 and 14 strong and is always different, drawn from many genres but with a focus on free improv, jazz, and ambient drone. Touching points for the SSU sound are Alex Cline Ensemble, Talk Talk, Spontaneous Music Ensemble and The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble.

Jigsaw 5050 - Lead by Phil Morton of the Improvisers Network. Known and labeled as a hardcore free improviser. Morton has been active in the Northern circuit of free improvisation activities since 1997. During this time he has constantly pushed the limits and restrictions of being `free` and pleasured in the infinite responses created and driven by restrictions. Taking over ten years to evolve, his `System 5050`is played tonight by the members of the Preston-based Jigsaw group.
