Introduction
Started in November 1999 by percussionist Eddie Prévost of AMM, this is a weekly improvisation workshop held in the basement of the Welsh Chapel in Southark every Friday evening. The workshop has been attended by over five hundred experimental musicians from all parts of the world. Occasionally the workshop is still led by Eddie, and continues to flourish through diversity and a common interest in experimental and improvised approaches to music.
