Trio Bright Whitely Bettany
GEOFF BRIGHT, voice and instruments
GILLIAN WHITELY, saxophones, voice and stuff
NATHAN BETTANY, oboe and cor anglais
Nathan Bethany has been a double reed hooligan since he was small. As well as gum shredding improvised slobber he is a professional spanner thrower who has been known to sing, dance, rap and tell ‘jokes’, embarrassing himself and leaving audiences and collaborators befuddled.
Geoff Bright improvises on saxophones with voice and other stuff at the same time as he pursues an inquiry into how that practice might contribute to our collective construction of a politics of improvisation.
Gill performs drawings, makes pamphlets, prints stuff, salvages detritus and improvises with materials, voice and instruments inc. piano, accordions, harmonium, melodica, viola, hurdy-gurdy, psaltery and pixiephone www.bricolagekitchen.com
