The C.I.O. is a friendly group for people who enjoy to experimenting with sound and improvised music. You don’t have to have an instrument to join, we will have something you can use but if you have any kind of instrument please bring it along with you. No experience necessary. C.I.O. welcomes new members of all abilities, whether amateur or professional.
Recruitment statement.
The C.I.O. are a 15 - 20 piece group using a broad range of acoustic and electronic instrumentation. We are currently looking for string players, brass players and electronic musicians willing to take part in large-scale experimental performances without musical notation.

Previous orchestral experience not necessary. Applicants of all abilities, whether amateur or professional, classical, folk, noise or jazz will be considered. See less
