about

This open dance format is open to all levels of experience.
The first part of the session will introduce you to the principles of sharing in movement.
Throughout the session, we will be exploring the fundamentals of contact improvisation practice. Exploring different ways of working with weight in relation to gravity, sharing weight with other bodies, rolls, falls, lifts, tuning and physical listening exercises.

The remainder of the session will be open to attendees to dance as they wish.
Think ecstatic dance with a contact emphasis.
This part offers an informal space for dancers to move and experience contact with others.
