Bay Area Improviser's Network was created to provide a forum for Experimental, Improvised, Noise, Electronic, Free-Jazz, Avant Garde, Modern Composition, and Other Forms of Contemporary Sound in the San Francisco Bay Area. At this site, you can find musician's biographical information, upcoming concert info, reviews, links to other sites, and more.
The major goals of the site are to:
- Provide a comprehensive calendar of events
- Provide Artist information
- Provide tools for fans of the music, such as a weekly newsletter and event reminders

High Zero is the premier festival of Improvised, Experimental music on the East Coast of the USA, being fully devoted to new collaborations between the most inspired improvisors from around the world.
The Red Room is a volunteer-run space in Baltimore dedicated to mind-expanding experimental culture, headquartered at Normals Books and Records.
