Acoute Installations takes the two acouté briefs and moves away from the performance presentations, the concert, and seeks to:

• explore what new possibilities acoustic installations have to offer in a digital age”
• explore the act of listening in the creative process.

Short term objective. To deliver acoute installations within a acoute evening concert, pre-concert and interval presentations. A tight schedule but a starting point.

Long term objective. To deliver acoute installations as a stand alone exhibition, with duration, co-dependant on the acoute concert series, with the festival a specific opportunity.

The Challenge. the installations are acoustic and no electricity is used in the production of sound.

Who? Two routes,

1. Specific artists may submit proposals. The artists maybe be "local" - international - or global. How? complete the form below.
2. The acoute installations network, artists based in the north of England how wish to share, explore and develop this arena that may result in both solo work and group developed work being exhibited.
