Classical guitarist and composer Richard Harding has been on the SPNM shortlist and has played guitar since his Iron Maiden-listening teens. Sax-and-flautist Phil Hargreaves has been floating around the obscure backwaters of UK improv for more years than anyone cares to remember. Together they create a sound with nods in a number of directions that veers between eerie fragility and a robust approach to the making and experiencing of sound.
