Immerse yourself in this performance installation by INHABIT artist Mary Prestidge, working a collaboration with Philip Jeck, created for Bluecoat’s 300th anniversary.

POOL draws inspiration from a pond that once occupied the space between the Sandon and Garden rooms, created by members of the Sandon Studios Society, the group that established an artistic community in the building in the early 20th century.

For this re-enchantment of Bluecoat’s secret courtyard, which echoes voices, sights and sounds of the past and the present, Jeck has created a continuous soundscape. Other invited artists will bring their dance, song, music and illuminations to further animate the spaces.
