Amazon review,

In first place the title sounds silly. But it is worth a second thought. This books frees from seeing music in the traditional application of instruments, tunes and chords. It is meant for young teachers and younger children to find a new access to the "music" of today. It does not only talk of noises, though it does not follow up, what music is or can be. Even as a modern composer I found clear definitions of elements in the digital production. So it is very valuable to lay some ground for our future : consuming and producing of music.

This book has been suggested by Phil Morton, Liverpool:Uk  `This is a very helpful book, it starts with simplicity, and is very open. I recommend it.`

One of music's most unique and interesting voices, and a star student of the legendary Anthony Braxton, guitarist Mary Halvorson discusses how she reconciled her work with standards and with free improvisation in her own music.
