Glasgow GIOdynamics in a room Summer onwards 2024

Welcome back to GIOdynamics. The in-person sessions are now at The Glad Cafe.

GIOdynamics is a session of improvised music played over the internet run by the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra.
It's a focused but relaxed session if you want to give it a go. It's fun, good for the head, maybe even the soul. Amount of experience of improvising is totally irrelevant. Everyone and all aesthetics are definitely welcome. Writing music is improvising so most people who play music have improvised. Just that these compositions come and go. Just to say don't be put off by the term if you'd like to come and play music with people over the internet.
The session involves Jer (me!) putting whoever drops into small groups for short improvisations of 5-7 minutes.
If you click attending I will send the zoom link automatically.
Otherwise message me via the GIOdynamics, Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra or my personal fb page for the link which I send out on the day.
A wee tip: turning on original sound in zoom bypasses the zoom algorithm trying to isolate a speaker and cutting out other sound. So making things sonically smoother.
Look forward to seeing/ hearing you!
