ZUKANICAN
PHIL LUCKING: trumpets
JAMES PAGELLA: drums and percussion
HARRY SUMNALL: synths and percussion
TOM SUMNALL: bass

.. their free-flowing improvisations, tasty Krautrock grooves and jazz flourishes immediately paint a huge aural canvas with thick layers of colors borrowed from just about everyone from Coltrane and Sun Ra to The Soft Machine and Bablicon.

Frakture Concerts presented
Sonny Simmons Quartet & Zukanican
7th May 2010 8.00pm £5 & £3
The Bluecoat, School Lane, Liverpool, L1 3BX

This event attracted an attendance of 87 paying members of the audience, plus those who did not pay an entrance fee one may speculate there were 100 people in the room at the Bluecoat on that night! Which previous Frakture concert can match this? P Morton writes in May 2020
