What we did : Jigsaw - Preston 15.10.2019

Summary
6 people in the room: AC/IH/TS/JA/CJ/Pm
  • The opening circle: We counted to up to 20 - write up is not available. We added the word `and`. We counted up to 20 and down from 20 to 1 at the same time :D We also explored the definition of the phrase `attentive listening`
  • We played two pieces, each 10 minutes long. No rules, except duration.
  • Next `parade` READ MORE . A nice surprise and positive experience. The act of doing the piece generated version off the piece, maybe next time.
  • We then did a new piece, no notes on this: we deployed system 50:50, but with a slight tweak for the workshop environment. The clock settings were, 5 minutes free play and 5 minutes tacet: BUT the players were given the option during tacet: to remain silent or explore the following `play mode` called GROUND. ¬The static underlayment to support other higher profile “voice(s)`¬ This worked well. More notes on this to follow
  • end
Notes:
to read more on system 50;50, just goole it `improvisers networks system 50:50`
