The presents the listener with a series of pieces and not one long listen.
There maybe a higher turn over of; how do i say this, musical ideas because of this stop start effect.
The rotation system brings each member of the group to the foreground as it progress through it rotations: changing the dynamic for each piece for the players and listeners.
