It's not easy being green
- Explores the notion, the concept of collaboration across different performance `platforms`, in this example dance & music that are driven by `free improvisation in music` - `contact improvisation in dance` and associated art forms.
- The name of this score; derived from a `pop` song, the colour green can be generated by mixing blue and yellow, thus we have a simple metaphor (?) for this score, the musicians are blue, the dancers are yellow, when they mix and collaborate green is the result.
- Concepts; the music is not continuous, when in tacet mode the musicians give witness to, are in observation mode to the dance [and vice versa]
- The process of engagement using musicians as an example: The musicians in tacet mode give witness and observe the dance then at a shared time cue engage, start to play, there is dance and music. It is music that follows on from observation: vice versa.

- The term `music` is unhelpful or let's write, there is music, there can also be `sound` or sound art` which explores the space, a sound design that can inform or be used by `the dance` that has a different role than music. [ unclear - more citation required ]
- The relationships between the art forms, or platforms, may vary; attached, non-attached and detached. [ unclear - more citation required ]
